He took me to one of his secret rivers that he thought would be good for fishing at that time of the year because it was late in the season. Since I am a seasoned fisher man, Petur could fish with me and did not have to teach me how to fish, but he pointed out the best spots and let me take the first casts. We started with the fly rods that he provided but the fish was not biting (probably my lack of experience), so I changed in to my rod with the secret lure and right away the action started!! I caught 6 nice artic char that after noon and it was the first time I ever caught an arctic char. What a fishing trip it was and Icelandic Elements and Petur come highly recommended!

From our hotel pickup to drop off he packed in what can only be described as the most outstanding and awe inspiring sights. His attention to detail was excellent, his Land Cruiser was new and spotless, and he provided us with an unobtrusive description of sights and views without being too chatty or too in our faces. Both our 17 year old daughter and 12 year old son said it was the best day of our holiday to Iceland and my wife and I agreed. I cannot recommend a trip with Peter enough, you won’t be disappointed!!!
